Visiting with Chapter B
David, Twyla and Jeff met at JR and Norleen's at 7:00am so that all 5 could ride together to visit Chapter B for their November Gathering.

After the breakfast we learned that there was to be a co-rider class and a chapter ride. Because Twyla needed the co-rider class to move up to level 2 in the Rider Education Program, she joined the class and ended up being the demonstration subject.

Here she is on the instructors bike lessening with the rest of the class.

Then Chapter O joined the Chapter B ride, we headed north across the floating bridge and ended up in a place called Troll Haven.

Here is the plaque that tells the story of Troll Haven:
At night,
around their hearth
the Trolls of Gardiner
listen to the wind
blowing from the North.
They listen,
to the song
it carries from afar.
Telling how, in great haste
they left Norway,
and crossed the artic waste.
Enduring great hardships
for many nights they did roam,
Seeking a refuge
a place to call Home.
They listen,
with joy, and sing along,
Knowing they have found
Troll Haven.
a place safe and strong.

And here is one of the "entry ways" at Troll Haven.
(It just does not seem right to call it a door)

This must be the bridge that the Three Billy Goats Gruff must cross.

Here is Dave and JR visiting some of the Troll Haven sites.

Here are some trolls helping holding up the barn.

Twyla wanted to take this gate home, but the guys finally convinced her it would not fit on the bikes.
But if it had fit on the bikes, there would have been a fight, did Twyla get to take it home or did Norleen!

Here the wizard is guarding his castle.

The bikes had a few close calls with the denizens of the land!

After visiting Troll Haven we visited a nice little place that had money hanging from the ceiling. Here is a picture of several GWRRA WA-B members and the money.

Soon after lunch the three Chapter WA-O bikes took of alone to have a short ride together.
Here is JR and Norleen at "point", while Jeff is riding "tail gunner", leaving Dave and Twyla in the middle.

During a "butt break" they made the acquaintance of a very friendly puppy.
Good thing Gold Wings are faster at leaving, then puppies are at finding a thrown stick.

Rick and Dave in the staging area.
Almost 100 bikes in one place is impressive.
Rick, Dave, Twyla, Del and Diane had a cold but good time.

20/20 Visit To Chapter D (Aberdeen)
After a gathering full of fun and laughter, the restaurant owner wanted a ride on a bike. So Norleen, with Twyla's help, ambushed Mike to give her a ride.
Here is Chapter O watching them leave the parking lot.
And here they are after the ride!!!
